HONDA MALAYSIA INTRODUCES CARNIVAL RED COLOUR FOR THE VERSATILE JAZZ

Petaling Jaya, 5 January 2016 – Honda Malaysia today announced the introduction of a new colour, Carnival Red, into the Jazz colour line-up. In addition to the exciting new colour, the Jazz (S Variant) also received various enhancements based on market feedback - the front grille is now in high-glossed black with chrome plating, the rear license garnish is also chrome plated and the door mirrors are now power adjustable for convenience.

“We have observed that the Jazz is attracting a new group of young customers mainly tertiary students and young adults who are looking to own their first car. Research has shown that the colour red was depicted to be fresh, vibrant and young. We are pleased to introduce the Jazz in Carnival Red, which is a perfect combination of fun and practicality, and we are confident it will be able to meet our young customers’ requirements. The vibrant and striking colour complements the versatile lifestyle of the young customers perfectly,” said Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Yoichiro Ueno.

The 3rd Generation Jazz has continued the legacy of its predecessors as the game changer in the compact hatchback segment with its overall package of versatility, functionality and affordability.  Since its launch in July 2014, Honda Malaysia has sold 26,126 units of Jazz as at 31st December 2015.

The 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC engine of the Jazz works seamlessly with the Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) to provide dynamic performance and better fuel efficiency. The design concept of the bold and sporty looking Jazz with its sleek headlights, alloy wheels and rear combi lights has captured the hearts of its young customers with multi-faceted lifestyles.

Taking every passenger into consideration, the Jazz provides a large cabin space which is also highly functional. The well known Versatile Magic Seats offers four different configuration modes which allow versatile usage of the space. The Jazz continues to lead in the B-segment hatchback with its class-leading features such as nine cup holders, smart storage compartments, 7” Display Audio, USB & HDMI Ports and Touch Panel Auto Air-Conditioning for everyone in the car.

Safety remains as an important emphasis for Honda models. In the Jazz, safety features are unrivalled with 6 Airbags (V variant; including Dual Front SRS Airbags, Side Airbags and Side Curtain Airbags), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) (E & V variants), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and ISOFIX.

Sales target for the Jazz in Carnival Red is 200 units a month.

All 3 variants of the Honda Jazz will now offer Carnival Red to its existing colour line-up of New Tinted Silver, Taffeta White, Crystal Black Pearl and Modern Steel Metallic.

Warning! Warning! Warning to some TOVers.
Do not puch SC too far, too much if you don't want to be banned from TOV.
He still has the power.
Danger. Danger. Danger.

NSX was a statement. NSX II is a statement, too.
It is $200,000. EVen souped up Corvettes, GT-Rs or Mustangs could out run other exotic super sports cars mowdays. So how do they differentiate from the other supercars that cost more than NSX II and make a statement of Honda of the future?
Big ass engine to just out run? It's done that and everybody knows Honda can do that, too. One of Soichiro's wisdom was winning is not everything when you're the top. You need to coexist with others is part of it. They can make supercars that out run other supercars and cost less but for what reasons?
Almost as good as other supercars but cost less and better MPG.

1.5l Civic sticks, new civic hatches, new hybrid DCDs, new Accords, these are all from Ito era.
And the new hybrid MDX!
[The MDX Sport Hybrid is anticipated to receive EPA fuel economy ratings of 25/26/26 (city/highway/combined), an estimated 7-mpg city fuel economy rating increase over the (non-hybrid) MDX with SH-AWD.]
This is huge. This is bigger than the new NSX, RLX. Probably won't be tested on tracks because who cares. '25 miles in city' is big because that's where this thing is most likely be driven by soccer (sucker) moms and dads. I'd guess the new RLX will get this 3.0l V next too.
Hybrid itself may not be in the future but for now it is Honda's and in Japan they're probably more than 50% in the markets. So whether Hybrids are going to be the future or not or full electrics or fuel cells or antimatter something, Honda will adapt accordingly to survive. Lower gas prices won't deter this trend. People are used to 25, 30, 40 mpg. It's the norm now.

Another thing, when Ito-sama took over it was the middle of the Lerman Brother's world financial crisis of derivatives. They're literally insuring each others. So if one falls then others, all would have fallen.
Then the 3/11 earthquake and if these were enough, came the tsunami in Malaysia. Despite all that Ito-sama not only pulled Honda together but he introduced the new earth engine family, too.
And that wasn't good enough for them/him he has introduced the earth engine turbo family, the new hybrid family, F1 participation. Takata thing was not his doing especially when Takata holds a good portion of Honda shares. He was blindsided.
Of course, to some people it wasn't even or closed to good enough because he was the one who canceled the V10 NSX and the RWD sports sedans thinking as if any one of them could run the multi-national corporation. I bet he would crush you like a bug if you could even work next to him.

Don't underestimate the things that I will do I'll never buy a honda again, never ever never
There's a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch
And it's bringing me out the dark
The scars of your love remind me of us
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all, Honda!!
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless
I can't help feeling
We could have had it all, Acura!!!
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

News Flash!!!

No more hybrid in Honda SuperGT NSX !!!

With this they can co-develop SuperGT and GT3 cars, and will shift their hybrid resources to F1.
Win Win.
